Who We are and What we Do

UDAAN Society was formed in 2004 when some young social workers who were working to eradicate polio decided to work on alternative strategies, instead of relying on community mobilization. The plan was to work on the deep-rooted factors and causes of any problem, not the problem itself. For this purpose, a banner was created and registered on 13/12/2004 under the name UDAN (United Development Association for the Improvement of Abandoned). Despite being registered by young social workers with qualifications in social work, financial administration, human resource management, agriculture, law, public administration etc., we have been favored by academics, professionals and government officials from all walks of life. Currently, the executive committee of UDAAN Society has eleven members who make important decisions and steer the organization's future course of action. The team is dedicated to guiding the organization at each and every step.
