Swachhta hi Sewa Rally and Awareness Campaign at Aligarh Railway Station

On dated 22/09/2018 UDAAN Society along with team of NGOs and Social workers organized a rally and awareness campaign on sanitation at Aligarh Railway Station under ‘Swachhta hi Sewa’ fortnight started from 15th of September to 2nd of October. The people were made aware for not creating filth at railway station. The whole programme was organized under the able guidance of Station Superintendent Shri DK Gautam . The rally was organized at platform no.2 of Aligarh station in which the scavengers also took participation. They used slogans to make people understand about the relation between health and sanitation. The Childline team of UDAAN Society, the Citizen Welfare Society were part of the rally and awareness campaign. The leading Social Worker of Aligarh Ms. Saida Khatoon also explained the passengers sitting on the platform for not throwing the waste at station premise and use of dustbin. The intern of UDAAN Society Ms. Anila Khan, who hails from Africa also shared her views and experience of african countries, in the area of sanitation, to all the participants. Gyanendra Mishra President of the organization extend the gratitude to the members of Citizen Welfare Society including team leader Rakesh Kumar for their sincere participation. Childline team members Neelam Saini and Bharat Singh also participated in the programme.
